Permission Configuration
After the System Library extension has been installed your users are good to go! You do not need to assign permission sets to your regular Business Central users.
If you would like to grant users access to the administrator features, then you can choose to assign the Apportunix System Lib. (Admin) permission set to those users.
Assign the Admin Permission Set¶
The Apportunix System Lib. (Admin) permission set can be used to grant users permissions to administrator features, such as configuring OAuth 2.0 Applications or using the Enum Inspector. The permission set should only be assigned to the relevant users or groups of users.
To assign the permission set to users:
-
Use the Tell Me search feature (Alt+Q, 'magnifying glass icon in the top right corner') to search for and open the Users page.
-
Select the user that you want to assign permission to.
Any permission sets that are already assigned to the user are displayed in the Permission Sets factbox.
-
Choose the Edit action to open the User Card page.
-
On the User Permission Sets FastTab, on a new line, fill in the Permission Set field with the permission set for the Document Archive extension.
